About
Julie's passion is to be much more than an observer, to be an active member of communities, online and off. A graduate from the University of Michigan, her career began just down the road from Ann Arbor, in Detroit. After learning the basics of storytelling, branding, and community management as an intern, she was asked to join the team at the Heidelberg Project, a 501(c)(3) community-arts non-profit. A believer in the revitalization of the city, Julie has volunteered with several organizations who are actively contributing to the growth of Detroit. In her free time, Julie is constantly searching for new ways to capture the city in her camera lens and is an active player in the Detroit City Futbol League.
